Venom was free, he gasped for air for a bit feeling it fill his lungs and then turned around to face Carnage. "I hope you aren't planning on leaving...I'm not done with you quite yet..." He told them with a glare. "I wouldn't have it any other way ..." Venom chuckled.
Yeah, Venom could do this! They were bigger, more experienced, they could do this! And then he pulled a sword out of his hand that Kenji and his symbiote partner both thought a bit unfair. "Can we do that?" Kenji asked nervously. "Let's find out ..." Venom held his hand in front of his face, his features turning into the same expression of concentration that Carnage had worn mere seconds ago. The symbiote began to twist around his arm and Venoms face lit up for half a second until it turned into a big bubble and burst.
"... we're going to die aren't we?" Kenji told him. Venom growled and flung a tentacle from the palm of his hand straight towards Carnage.

Perfect. If everything continued on in this vein, Carnage could have his way with the corpse of the monster and be long gone by the time any kind of law enforcement arrives. He gladly noted that his opponent had the same battle lust that he now felt, a sort of power that seemed to flow through your body that motivated you to attack and kill whatever happened to be in front of you. And this was exactly what Carnage planned on doing.
As he dropped into a crouch, preparing to pounce, Carnage noticed that the creature seemed to be imitating him. A form of mockery, perhaps? Or maybe it was simply trying to emulate his awesomeness. Either option was unacceptable. Nobody mocks or tries to be Carnage, except Carnage. With a roar (a very impressive one, if I don't say so myself. After all, this is the first time he has ever roared.) he reached out, his intent to grab the tentacle. If this manuever met with success, he would follow it up by pulling on the tentacle, drawing his opponent within striking range. This would be most enjoyable.

The monster grabbed his tentacle. Venom hissed and tried to pull free but unfortunately he was too strong so he just kind of tugged in vain and almost fell forward. Carnage gave the tentacle a sharp pull and sent Venom hurtling towards him. The black behemoths free arm shot out and wrapped several tentacles around a lamppost. Instead of stopping him (as he had planned) the lamppost was torn loose and followed Venom.
He landed on his knee's in front of Carnage and looked up. The lamppost landing beside him with a clang and the tentacles wrapped around it freed themselves and whipped out at Carnage.

Ah, success. Carnage just loves it when a plan comes together. As his target flew toward him, a smile cracked the killer's lips. "So far, I have been having an excellent week!" For some reason, a lamp post tried to get in on the action and utterly failed, this probably being due to the fact that it had no brain or thought process to speak of, not to mention no form of locomotion besides falling. Carnage was sure glad that he was not that lamp post.
Looking down at the pitiful creature in front of him, he was certain that victory was now his. He prepared to strike. "You fought well, but all will fall in the face of Carnage!" If only this monster could see the futility of his resistance, this would be over much easier. Sadly, the black brute seemed to have the spirit of a buckin' bronco and again set upon Carnage with a barrage of tentacles.
The unexpected attack caused Casady to take a few steps back, shielding his face. "Will you cut it out and just DIE already?!" Releasing the blade he had formed, it sunk down back into his arms and, ignoring the lashing he was recieving, Carnage lunged for his target, hoping to sink his claws into its head.

"So far, I have been having an excellent week!" Carnage laughed, Venom looked up at him and snarled angrily. "Good for you, ours has been horrid ..." He grunted.
"You fought well, but all will fall in the face of Carnage!" He declared, preparing to attack once again. Kenji thought of something, just a quick, three second thought and Venom grinned suddenly, flicking the tendrils around his left hand at Carnage and causing him to walk backwards shielding his face from the barrage "Will you cut it out and just DIE already?!"
Venom dropped the tentacles as Carnage returned the sword into his forearm and got to his feet. Carnage started to lunge at Venom who crouched to the floor, picked up the lamppost and swung it at his foe with as much force as he could.

Carnage definitely underestimated his opponent, although he would never admit it out loud. In mid-lunge, he was slammed by that darned lamppost (whom, apparently, was perfectly capable of joining the fight) and knocked a solid distance out of his way. Flying to the side, feeling something crack in his chest, the killer tumbled through the air until he a protrusion of the wall of the school, causing a sizable crater and a decent bit of debris to tumble over him. His vision was hazy as he held a hand to his head. "Okay, that one hurt..."
He moved to get up, only to discover that his entire body was now sore. Narrowing his eyes toward the black creature he began to mumble things about how he couldn't wait to get his hands inside of him. His aspirations, however, may be spoiled. In the corner of his brain, he registered hearing sirens approaching.

Venom chuckled quietly in a deep raspy voice and tossed the lamppost away where it landed with a loud clang. He licked his lips (and most of his face) and walked towards Carnage, tentacles wriggling out of his back, arms and chest and moving towards the red symbiote.
His enemy stood up and the tentacles suddenly accelerated, attempting to wrap around each limb and then pin him to the wall before he could attack. Venom's head moved to the left (The tentacles still heading towards Carnage) he tilted his head, were those sirens? Dammit! They'd have to finish this fast.

Carnage realized his victim was approaching him. So, he hadn't had enough yet? "You shouldn't be so...eager to die!" Before he could do much, however, he was pinned to the wall by several tentacles, emnating from no other than the black beast before him. "Actually, yes, I love your initiative..."
He struggled to free himself, but to no avail. The blow with the lamp post had done its job and he was too weak now to overpower his opponent. This...this was no fair! He was just given these powers, for what?! To sit here and watch as this...whatever this thing is walk menacingly toward him! No! This was not the fate of Carnage the great! His vision turned red and the symbiote on his chest began to writhe as he felt an unbridled rage churning inside. "DIE!" A tentacle shot from his chest, a bladed tip, and made straight for the monster's chest, its intention to tear right through.

Where were they? A couple of blocks away? Someone must have survived what Carnage did and ran out screaming, hence the police, school would be evacuated now unless ...
"DIE!" Carnage hollered.
The first thing Venom saw when he looked back was a sharp pointy tentacle shooting towards his chest, his eyes widened and he immediately shot into action. His hands moved as quick as they could to intercept the appendage (releasing some of the tentacles holding Carnage). His hands grabbed it stopping it inches from his chest, he instantly dropped it, that was sharp, Kenji was muttering something about being in a lot of pain.
Venom growled and span around, planning to dizzy Carnage up a bit and then throw him into a car, or the road, or a brick wall or whatever was convenient.

The tentacles holding Carnage to the wall loosened slightly, and he felt his chance to escape. His opponent appeared completely distracted with the tentacle the killer had shot at him. He used this chance to concentrate enough to pull away from the wall and regain control. Pulling his weapon back into himself, he decided to try a different mode of attack. He reached back and wrapped his tentacles around several pieces of debris that were lying around him. "Just let me be! Did I ever hurt you?!" Immediately after speaking, Carnage realized the hypocrisy of his statement, but he didn't really care.
Swinging his arms forward, he released the rain of debris straight towards the black monstrosity, then taking the time to rip the tentacles off of his arms and legs.

"Don't take our eyes off him!" Kenji urged "Don't take our eyes o-"
Too late.
Several pieces of debris rammed into Venom and he lost concentration, his head hurt and he staggered backwards. He felt something pull and looked up in shock. Carnage had broken free of his bonds. Venom growled and took a step backwards, he reached back and grabbed the lamppost brandishing it above his head, the sirens were closer now. Any second now, they'd be here, and this nutjob would tear them to shreds. He needed to finish Carnage, now!

Carnage smirked as his attack landed successfully, the debris knocking the monster back a few steps and hopefully down a few notches. It did not appear so, he noted, as moments later, the beast was utilizing his friend the lamp post once again. Taking stock of all the previous blows they exchanged, Carnage came to a horrid realization. Well, horrid for his opponent.
Physically, he was stronger than the creature. All he needed to do was get close enough to utilize that. With that lamp post above his head, he had a lot more range than Carnage. Or did he. Taking the pose of a pitcher on the mound, Carnage opened his mouth again. "Batter up!" The situation was a brilliant parallel of baseball, and he would not let that go to waste. Throwing his arm forward, the killer released a small ball of symbiote straight towards his target. The ball transformed mid-flight, into what appeared to be a knife of sorts. Carnage quickly crossed his arms over his head, shielding himself from the strike that was sure to come from that meddling lamp post.
In the meantime, his attention was mentally drawn to the approaching sirens. Apparently, they weren't too far away. That could be fun.

"Batter up!" Carnage said throwing a ball of symbiote at Venom. Venom dropped the arm holding the lamppost and held out his other hand, planning to catch the ball and re-absorb it into his body. So obviously he was fairly surprised when it turned into a knife and stabbed through his hand. And by "fairly surprised" we mean screamed in agony and crushed his hand around the knife. The knife crumbled and Venom collapsed onto his knees.
Venom clenched his fist and glared at Carnage, whose arms were crossed over his head. The black symbiote got to his feet and whipped both of his arms out sending a pair of tentacles along with it, his plan was to slam them into Carnage, if it worked he could wrap them around and crush the breath out of him. If it didn't ... well, the police were about two streets away.

Carnage peeked around his guard to see what had happened, only to have the two tentacles slam into him, forcing him to the right and into the wall. Before he had much time to react, they were wrapping around him, constricting. Carnage growled and began to try and pry the tentacles off. True, he was stronger than his opponent, but the earlier blow by the lamp post had done a number on him, and his strength was beginning to wane. He hadn't rested in a long time, first escaping OsCorp, than walking all night before coming here.
He roared, continually trying to wiggle out of the tentacles while peeling them away. This thing would not get the best of him. He had so much potential and now would not be the time to allow himself to be beaten by the first non-human thing he meets. The futile struggle eventually drove him to start pounding his fists on his restrainsts.

It was working! Yes! Venom roared in triumph as the monster in his vice like grip resorted to desperately pounding on the tentacles squeezing him. Venom started to tighten his grip pulling Carnage a little bit closer, just out of arms length.
"I win," Venom giggled giving the tentacles a sharp tug to try and wind him.
Venom was about to do it again when he heard gun click behind him. How had he missed the sirens? Venom looked around to see a group of heavily armed riot soldiers pointing guns at the two symbiotes. Venom stood there for a second and then opened his mouth to speak but was met with a volley of machine gun fire. He staggered backwards putting his hands in front of his face.
... putting his hands in front of his face.
Venom turned frantically, still staggering from the constant barrage of bullets. He'd let go of Carnage!
