Full Name: Norman Osborn
Alias: Green Goblin
Age: Late thirties/Early forties
Gender: Male
Member Group: Villain
Occupation: CEO of OsCorp
Canon or OC: Canon
Height: About 6 feet
Weight: Around 220 pounds
Play by: Uhm, Dafoe?
Physical Description:
Personality: Norman Osborn is a rather vindictive, greedy businessman who will stop at nothing to achieve what he desires. He is perfectly willing to sacrifice anything (bar money) in order to achieve what he desires. He cares not for the little people and is often compassionless. He is also cold and rather distant.
After becoming the Green Goblin, Norman began to show huge signs of insanity, and even more greed. He feels even more entitled and empowered than he did before, with a villainous attitude to go with it. All in all, Norman Osborn is the kind of guy you don't really want to mess with.
Powers: Superhuman strength (can lift about up to 9 tons), speed, agility, dexterity, and stamina, as well as enhanced intelligence and a minor healing factor...also utilizes his Goblin Glider, incendiary Pumpkin Bombs, razor-edged boomerang type things, gas and smoke grenades, gloves that can discharge up to 1000 volts, wears chainmail beneath his purple tunic, and his mask has a built in gas filtering system.
Weaknesses: He is insane as well as being sadistic, maniccally depressed, has a huge superiority complex, and may have multiple personalities.
History:
Norman Osborn is the son of a powerful businessman, and soon finds himself in possession of his own corporation, OsCorp. He has a son, Harry, but his wife, Emily, died when Harry was only a year old. He eventually had the cofounder of OsCorp, Mendell Stromm, arrested on embezzlement charges, gaining sole possession of the company.
It was then that Norman decided to experiment with Stromm's strength-enhancing formula. The formula ends up exploding in his face. He is briefly hospitalized, but it turns out the formula worked. An unfortunate side effect, however, is that he is driven insane.
He bases the identity after a nameless monster he feared in his youth and becomes the Green Goblin, seemingly for no reason except to cause some chaos.
Sample Post:
Sleep wasn't coming this night. Too much was on Norman Osborn's mind. He lay in bed, covers askew, a slight sweat on his muscled form. His mind was racing elsewhere, though, through his memory. Emily. If only she were here, would any of this have happened? No. No, this was a gift. He wanted this more than anything. The power, the power was unbelievable. Exhilerating.
Slowly turning, Norman sat up, planting his feet squarely on the ground. He stood and slowly made his way to the bathroom, grabbing a cup and retrieving a glass of water from the tap. After emptying it into his mouth, a sigh of relief escaped. Why was it so hot tonight? He needed some sort of relief. It wasn't hot. The weather was normal, not hot nor cold. No, this wasn't heat he was feeling, this was anxiety.
He trotted downstairs, through doorways and halls, until he reached solace in his own little fortress of solitude. Like a magnet, he was drawn to the closet where his other identity lurked. How nice to feel his second skin wrapping over himself, the release that came with becoming the Green Goblin. Mere moments later, he hopped on his glider, launching down the tunnel that lead outside. Loosing a maniacal laugh into the sky, The Green Goblin rode into the night.
What can we call you? Norman, Norm, Gobby, Osborn; take your pick
