Okay, think back. Once upon the time in the '90s there was a little thing called a Spider-Man arc called Maximum Carnage. It was also responsible for launching a video game on Super Nintendo and a Sega Genesis version with some similar ideas called Separation Anxiety.
I was thinking that perhaps we could do something similar. Our plot would be different, of course- so far, no sonic gun and no Firestar. Perhaps the Thunderer could be brought in to help against Carnage? Depends on how heroic Jerry is feeling.
I think it would be interesting to have DD get caught in Thunderer's sonic scream- might make all the heroes a little more curious about who DD really is if they see how loud noises affect him.
As for villains- it would be really up to each character on who supports Carnage, goes against him, or just takes advantage of the situation. The Goblin might see a kindred spirit in Carnage, but it's doubtful they would work well together for long. Fisk could either be against Carnage because he poses a threat to his empire, or could use his tendency to create mayhem to tighten his grip on the city. My Black Cat, being much younger and inexperienced than she was during Maximum Carnage, will be cowering in a corner somewhere for the most part.

So, then, what's the actual plot? Like, what happens?

Well, I was just trying to gauge people's interest in the idea. Although I guess more details would help determine people's interest...
I guess a good deal of it would be up to Carnage. But I don't know that Carnage actually "plans" in the classic sense. It's more like "Carnage see, Carnage kill!" Although like Batman's Bane, he does have an interesting ability to snare people into following him (ie- Shriek, Demogoblin, Doppleganger).
